CBF-Flex: CBF + Fluo-Coat
The most reliable corrosion barrier
The harsh environment faced by expansion joints in Flue Gas Duct include: corrosive flow medium, temperature fluctuation from high to low and the condensation, mechanical stress by duct movements. Many joints made of PTFE coated and or film laminated fiberglass with low PTFE content or weak film strength failed unexpectedly causing tremendous loss. |
WHY CBF-FLEX
* |
CBF-Flex is made by lamination of CBF (cross bonded film PTFE film) on Fluo-Coat (rich PTFE coated Fiberglass cloth). It meets or supersedes most requirements on temperature, corrosion resistances and strength found in expansion joint fabrics |
* |
Resist most chemicals with PH 0 to 14. Application temperature from -73°C to 316°C |
* |
360° multi-direction tear strength (most standard TeflonR film show tear strength in one direction only) |
* |
Flexing strength is more than 5 times stronger than other Teflon materials. Cracking Resistance is better by 1000 times than other TeflonR materials (PTFE, PFA, FEP) |
* |
CBF is the winner of the awards of "DuPont Plunkett" and "Chemical Processing's Vaaler" and has been recognized by the industries as the strongest PTFE material in the market. |
* |
Up to date, more than 3000 pcs of expansion joints installed with success. |

CBF-FLEX
Expansion Joint Product
The CBF-FLEX series are made of CBF film laminated to a FLUO-COAT load bearing component.
The CBF corrosion is a 100% PTFE material that is capable of resisting the stress cracking caused by
flexing and severe temperature fluctuation in expansion joint applications. The multi-directional strength and durability of CBF allows it to function as a thick PTFE barrier for corrosive chemicals whilemaintaining a crack-free and flexible surface. By its many successful performance, CBF has been proven to be the BEST and STRONGEST PTFE materials product. |
